a cover letter.
- Make a list of the things you must do when
writing your letter in your letter using Microsoft Word. Don't use cut and
paste. Put it in your own words.
- Put your name at the top of the list (so I
know who it belongs to).
- Take a look at their sample

- Add information from the JobStar webpage to
your list. Don't use cut and paste. Put it in your own words.
- Look at the Sample Cover Letters from JobStar.
Be sure to look at the Cover
Letter Template.
- Add any other information to your list.
- Print 2 copies of your list. Keep one and hand
the other one in to me
- Bring up Microsoft Word
- Use the template (yes, you can use it here) to
make a FAX cover sheet for your cover letter. Fill out the form in response
to the following:
- The Academies@Englewood is looking for a few
good students for the 9th grade. Please fax your resume to Mr. Sherry
at 201-833-6168, or phone 201.862.6074.
- Print 2 copies of your FAX cover sheet. Keep
one and hand the other one to me.
